….if you’d just moved out from the city and awoke one morning to find four bulls on your front lawn?<\/p>\n

Well, if you knew anything about cattle, you’d think “thank God, they’re Devon”.\u00a0 But our new neighbor, Mike Campagna, fresh from Alexandria, Virginia where he’s a real estate appraiser,\u00a0 was up close and personal with cows for the first time in his life.\u00a0 But Mike was cool, he remembered that the previous owners had a dog exercise yard behind the barn, so he just opened the gate and said “here boy”.<\/p>\n

Our Devon are pretty cool, too.\u00a0 They just ambled in and settled down to some top quality horse hay and waited to be fetched.\u00a0 We simply led them down the long driveway and across the road and right back into their pasture.<\/p>\n

Turns out a corner fence post had rotted and ground level and our young bulls decided to play their own game of “Welcome Wagon”.\u00a0 And we thank Mike for taking all this is stride.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
