Our friend Tom Neal has considered the problem we’re grappling with—the demand for Thistle Hill Devon beef out-pacing the supply— and he has come up with the answer.\u00a0 He calls it:<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Tom’s Jim Dandy Devon Cow Stretcher<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

and the prototype seems to work pretty well.<\/p>\n

We\u00a0 particularly like that the length added is in the higher-priced loin area.\u00a0 We’re hoping that, in future upgrades,\u00a0Tom will be able to custom enlarge the cow to meat customers’ particular desires.<\/p>\n

But now we hasten to add that, of course, this is a Photo-shopped <\/em>picture.\u00a0 Our fellow Devon breeders take all this pretty seriously, so we want to make it clear this cow is not for sale.<\/p>\n

And actually, we haven’t solved the problem at all.\u00a0 The list we put up to reserve meat from the next animal was fully “subscribed” in just a few hours.<\/p>\n
