{"id":555,"date":"2012-03-22T09:27:32","date_gmt":"2012-03-22T13:27:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thistlehill.net\/wpblog\/?p=555"},"modified":"2012-03-22T09:48:28","modified_gmt":"2012-03-22T13:48:28","slug":"so-now-you-have-a-choice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.thistlehill.net\/wpblog\/so-now-you-have-a-choice\/","title":{"rendered":"So now you have a choice&#8230;."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You can look at pictures of our great-grandson, our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thistlehill.net\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/20120321_9.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-556\" title=\"20120321_9\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thistlehill.net\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/20120321_9-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>14 grandchildren or our new hired hand.\u00a0 She flew in from Oklahoma the other night, arriving in excellent condition and more than matching our expectations.<\/p>\n<p>Her name is Pocahontas, and that\u00a0recommended her still further.\u00a0 Pocahontas of course was the legendary Virginia Indian maiden.\u00a0 However, before\u00a0she even arrived, we had shortened it to &#8220;<em>Pokey<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thistlehill.net\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/20120321_174.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-564\" title=\"20120321_17\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thistlehill.net\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/20120321_174-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><em>Pokey<\/em> was bred by Elaine Reynolds of Cimmaron English Shepherds and that&#8217;s what <em>Pokey<\/em> is.
