(Now, Amazon  has them for $160-180). Basically you put the steak in a plastic  bag&#8230;remove the air&#8230;and slow cook in water at a temp of 135 degrees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He\n deployed one of his Christmas presents: a Sous vide cooker. He selected\n a Delmonico steak for his first try just in case it didn\u2019t turn out. In\n fact he reports it was as tender and flavorful as a filet mignon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thistlehill.net\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Sous-Vide-Cooker.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thistlehill.net\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Sous-Vide-Cooker-191x300.jpg\" alt=\"Sous Vide Cooker\" class=\"wp-image-5492\" width=\"91\" height=\"200\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Apparently  it\u2019s a no-brainer; a gourmet steak every time!
