\"\"<\/a>This bouncing baby girl is\u00a0minutes old and Mom is just setting to work cleaning her up.\u00a0 She’s more messy than usual, because she wound up in a pile of leaves; but it makes a nice bed.<\/p>\n

Grandma has never had anything but heifers; and now this daughter has had her first calf, a heifer.\u00a0 So much for the laws of probabilities.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Even more remarkable is this proud\u00a0mother, the sole remaining member of Wooz’ original Angus herd.\u00a0 She is 15 years old and this is her 13th straight calf!\u00a0 Unlike most of her original herdmates, she was able to transfer to an all grass diet and it probably prolonged her life and made her so productive.<\/p>\n

In any event, year in and year out she produces outstanding calves and we’ll stick with her to the end.\u00a0 She will die here at the farm with dignity….but apparently not for quite a while.<\/p>\n
