Ashott Barton Millennium Falcon <\/em>was the bull we found on our first trip to Devon and eventually was to become the anchor of Traditional Devon America, a partnership of three breeders sharing a love of Devon cattle\u00a0and determined to preserve the traditional pure English genetic pool.<\/p>\n

His real mama is Goldings Snowdrop 113 <\/em>(British\u00a0pedigree records go back a long way.)\u00a0\u00a0 The mating occurred in a clinic near Cambridge, the embryo frozen and shipped to the States.<\/p>\n

We used one of our very best cows to serve as the recipient mother of the embryo (too many use their lesser cows) because we think these little ones deserve every advantage they can get.<\/p>\n

I guess he’s technically an “undocument alien” right now but we’ll pull tail hairs soon and check the DNA so he can be registered.\u00a0 Too late to vote, though.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
